The four paths are pay conversion, work time, overtime and offer comparison. Conversion connects hourly, daily, weekly, biweekly, semimonthly, monthly, quarterly and annual gross pay; work time adds paid and unpaid absence; overtime adds an entered multiplier; comparison places two entered offers side by side.
Annualisation uses fixed conventions: 52 weeks, 26 biweekly periods, 24 semimonthly periods, 12 months and 4 quarters. Biweekly and semimonthly therefore remain different frequencies. Scheduled hours come from entered hours per day and days per week.
Implemented relation
Annual pay = hourly pay × weekly hours × 52; monthly pay = annual pay ÷ 12; overtime pay = base hourly pay × overtime factor × overtime hours.Paid time off reduces actual hours but not modelled gross pay. Unpaid days reduce the annual amount pro rata by scheduled workdays. Overtime uses base hourly pay times the entered overtime factor times overtime hours; the factor is an input, not a statutory rule.
The €52,000 example fixes a five-day, eight-hour schedule to show each conversion. The absence and overtime examples then change only their stated input, so their effect remains transparent.
€52,000/year with 8 hours on 5 days: 260 scheduled days, 2,080 hours, €1,000/week, €4,333.33/month and €25/hour. Ten overtime hours at factor 1.5 add €375.
All money values use one chosen display currency without FX conversion. Service calculations retain their raw values; the page formats money and time outputs for display.
No income tax, social contributions, mandatory premium, collective agreement, local holiday entitlement, legal overtime rule or net salary is calculated. The comparison does not determine which offer is better and is not employment or legal advice.
