How the sales tax calculator works
Net is the amount before tax and gross includes tax. Adding tax multiplies net by the rate. Removing included tax divides gross by one plus the rate, so included tax is not simply gross multiplied by the rate. You provide the rate; no country data or tax-law logic is used.
