Convert selected ingredients into practical kitchen measures.
Open Kitchen measures and unit converter →Kitchen conversion is ingredient-specific because mass and volume meet through the selected reference density, not through a universal cup or spoon value.
After selecting a valid ingredient reference, the single conversion flow supports g, kg, ml, L, an editable cup size and only the spoon measures available for that ingredient. Practical output searches permitted kitchen-measure combinations for the selected reference.
The converter uses the chosen ingredient's mass-per-volume reference for cross-dimension conversions: m(g) = V(ml) × g/ml; V(ml) = m(g) ÷ g/ml; g/cup = g/ml × cup(ml).
Mass-to-volume conversion uses the selected reference value in g/ml; same-dimension conversions still stay in the same ingredient flow. Cup grams follow the entered cup volume, while level/heaped tablespoons and teaspoons are ingredient-specific data, not universal multipliers.
These checked conversions show a simple volume change and an ingredient-specific cup estimate: 500 ml → 0.5 L. selected reference: 150 g ÷ 250 ml; 170 g → 1 cup + 1 heaped tbsp.
g and kg remain mass, ml and L remain volume, while cups and spoons retain the selected ingredient's practical reference: g/kg · ml/L · editable cup (ml) · ingredient-specific level/heaped tablespoons and teaspoons.
The catalogue covers only its listed ingredients, states and measures. Reference values are not constants for every brand, packing or preparation; this is neither recipe scaling, nutrition analysis nor a precision weighing substitute.
Basis documented in the project README for individual grain and cup references; not a blanket source for all 106 catalogue values.
Supplement documented in the project README for individual ingredient and cup references.
Basis documented in the project README for household measures and their practical variation; not a blanket source for each individual value.
